Many couples who have not had a productive pregnancy prefer to choose donor eggs or sperm, or a surrogate, and have seen their dream of having children come true.
Donor Sperm
Many married couples choose donor sperm (donor insemination) in cases when the husband / male partner has very little sperm or rather weak semen examination (azoospermia, oligospermia, low motility) or when there is a family hereditary condition that may be passed on to the man.
In this method, the impregnation of a female patient is done with donor sperm received from an identified or undisclosed donor with the procedure being conducted by highly-trained fertility specialists.
Donor Egg
The method of fertility egg donation includes the procurement of eggs from a female who has naturally responsive ovaries. In this method, the eggs are fertilized in an In Vitro Fertilization ( IVF) clinic utilizing semen from the spouse of the recipient pair or in some cases from artificial insemination.
Embryo donation
Donation of embryos is a method of reproduction by which surplus embryos left from one individual / pair’s In Vitro Fertilization ( IVF) procedure are transferred to some other individual or pair.
Couples trying to create a family may find embryo donation as a feasible alternative.
