Why Sree Saran?

Identify has to come below Categorise
Identify – Our accurate identification on a case-to-case basis addresses a couples fertility issue with precision versus a ”one-size-fits-all” approach

Analyse – To ensure the most-appropriate line of treatment for each of our patients, our team of gynaecologists, urologists, embryologists, psychologists, physical fitness trainers and dieticians will spare no effort in investing energies, expertise and insights so that patients problems are individually ‘identified and categorised’.

Categorise – Our team follows a protocol-based approach that categorises infertile couples into three main groups-

Category 1:
– Married less than 5 years.
– Unexplained infertility
– Age less than 30
– Not yet started treatment.

Category 2:
– Married for more than 10 years.
– Grade I & II Endometriosis
– Started treatment and have had a default

Our approach for Category 2 patients:

After counselling and a careful analysis of the previous medical history of our category 2 patients, we implement a protocol based multidisciplinary approach that integrates physical fitness and a surgical cum medical roadmap for early conception.

Our approach for Category 3 patients:

Usually, patients who fall under Category 3 are those that have suffered previous IVF & ICSI failures. Their hopes at becoming parents have been crushed because of unsuccessful attempts in the past and they’ve had to undergo severe frustration as a result.

Our protocol in addressing this category of patients is slightly more nuanced, in that we prioritise mental, emotional and physical stability before commencing to the next stage.

Each factor starting from genetic counselling to prior thyroid & hormonal therapy and medical-related problems such as diabetes or other such diseases are thoroughly analysed and addressed accordingly.

At every stage, our fertility team of experts monitors and assesses the development on the basis of our ‘Actionable Steps Map’ that charts patient progress.

Typically, our fertility team of experts will implement the prospective strategy of advanced IVF procedure and leave no stone unturned in order to help the couple realise their dream of having a baby successfully.

Counselling Protocol for Category 1, 2 & 3 patients:

For category 1 patients, we include couple counselling as the first step before treatment initiation. Both the male and female patients are duly counselled and when required, the extended family members are given advice as well.

Usually, for category 1 patients, we’ve observed that with our systematic physical fitness and diet plan, the conception success rate goes up to 60% and the couple may require no further medical interventions.

Nevertheless, for all categories of patients, dependent on the fertility treatment planned for each, our specialists may recommend a hormonal workup, USG, male factor rectification such as varicocele testis correction, retrograde ejaculation or hormonal correction treatment.

For category 2 & 3 patients, once the screening and corrective procedures are completed, the team may recommend the Ovulation Induction (OI) procedure which usually delivers a success rate of about 30%.
Based on the result outputs of the OI procedure, our team of specialists proactively re-evaluate the treatment strategy and recalibrate based on the response to the previous therapies.

Typically, if the Ovulation Induction procedure fails, the IUI therapy is employed.

In the Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) process, sperms that have been washed and centrifuged are administered as concentrated semen injections in the female patient’s uterus. The success rate of this process is nearly about 30%.

The IVF procedure is implemented when both, Ovulation Induction and the Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) process have been unsuccessful.
